Great Pyrenees - Needs a Foster Home

This is Jill. She is a 4 year old Great Pyrenees and the mother of Bradford ad Randall, our two puppies. Jill needs a foster home in the Nashville area, but it has to be the right one.
Jill is a beautiful, sweet girl who would not harm a flea. She is, however, terrified and has no idea what to do around people. Jill was left to have puppies alone and was rescued by some nice people, but she is petrified.
Jill spent her photo session with me shaking. She likes being petted, but change scares her. She is fine with other dogs, and in fact, needs another dog to show her the ropes. She is also fine with cats.
What Jill needs is a Nashville area foster. She is heartworm positive and will have to go through treatment and that will take 6 weeks or so. She is quiet and looking for no trouble and she needs a quiet home. A securely fenced yard with her is an absolute must and chain link does not qualify.
This dog has been through the ringer and she deserves a foster home to relax in. If you can help foster her, please email tiffany@bigfluffydogs.com. Any foster home needs to be within driving distance of Nashville as she has vet appointments in her future. Thanks and please spread the word.

Please Adopt Me Now!

My Name is Reese, and my mom is going through some rough times right now and can’t take care of me anymore.  I know she will miss me very much but this is the best thing for me.

About Me:  I was born on December 12, 2006, so I’m almost 4 years old.  I am an American Staffordshire Terrier (aka Pit Bull) but everyone thinks I am a Boxer because of the colors on my face.  My mom raised me right, so I am not a mean dog.  I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on all routine shots!  I LOVE kids, other dogs and I even like cats.  I just love being around people and getting lots of love and attention.  I’m staying in an outdoor boarding facility right now and really want to get out of here.  Please call my mom, Laura Batton, at 832-382-8776 if you would like to take me home.

Please Adopt Me Today!

My Name is Diesel, and my mom is going through some rough times right now and can’t take care of me anymore.  I know she will miss me very much but this is the best thing for me.

About Me:  I was rescued off the streets so I’m not sure when my birthday is, but the vet says I’m around 1 ½ - 2 years old.  I am a Yellow Lab Mix and I’ve been told I kinda look like “Ole Yeller”.  My mom and her friends call me a “gentle giant” because I am big dog but super sweet……I wouldn’t hurt a fly!.  I am neutered and up to date on all routine shots!  I LOVE kids, other dogs, cats, playing with squeaky toys and tug of rope.  I just like being around people all the time receiving lots of love and attention.  I’m in a foster home right now but can’t stay there for much longer and need to find a permanent home.  Please call my mom, Laura Batton, at 832-382-8776 if you would like to take me home.

Found but Rescued by Cubbies Bone Pet Sitting

This morning, as I was on my way to do a Pet Taxi, I encountered your typical Houston traffic.  When I got to the hold up for the traffic, I was mortified.  There in the fourth lane of 610 Northbound traffic, laid a dog who had been hit by a car.  People never seize to amaze me NO ONE stopped to help this poor creature who was not dead, just hurt, and continued to drive around her.  Myself & another man were able to get her off the freeway and onto the shoulder lane (a big thank you to the nice 18 wheeler truck driver who stopped traffic for us).  My dad & I have transported her to the vet where she is expected to make a full recovery.  She has no broken bones, only severe lacerations on her rear legs which will heal.  She appeared to be a very friendly dog as she licked me repeatedly and let me try and comfort her as we waited to see the vet.  The vet estimates she is a petite, black & tan Rott (currently weighing about 50-60 lbs).  She is grossly underweight and should be 70-80 lbs.  Her age is approximately a little over a year old. Aside doctoring her wounds, she will also have her shots administered today as well as a heartworm test.  She will be boarded at the vet today and possibly tomorrow depending on how the vet feels she is recovering.  I will try to get pictures of her as soon as possible.
I am looking for a foster home or permanent home for this sweet dog.  Her medical bills for today have been paid for, but she will need a follow up visit and spay.  Depending on location, we can transport her to a loving home within a 600 mile radius of Houston.

If you, or anyone you might know, are looking to be a foster parent or a new family member, please let me know.

Thank you!

Pregnant pup found

A pregnant puppy was found in Sugar Land, Tx.  She had 6 puppies 3/18/10.  If there are any foster homes that can take her in please contact crystal@allgencompanioncare.com.

The advantage of pet sitting is that we are on the streets and neighborhoods and run across lost animals.  Please help us find her a home.

if you can help these two cats

Ela Acosta at Acosta@thevillageschool.com or Sabrina Keeler at Keeler@thevillageschool.com if you can help these two cats and take them into your rescue or adoption program or if you are interested in adopting them. They are currently living in a vacant home and the relatives are getting desperate to get them moved.

Sadly, one of the teachers at The Village School lost her battle with cancer over the holidays. She left 2 male cats that need to be adopted. They are in door cats; both have been neutered but not de-clawed. They are brothers and been inside and are in great health. Prefer not to separate, brothers – 8 years old. Please send out and, hopefully, we can find these baby boys a new home this week. If there is any interest, the contact persons are Ela and Sabrina with The Village School and their information is shown below.
