if you can help these two cats

Ela Acosta at Acosta@thevillageschool.com or Sabrina Keeler at Keeler@thevillageschool.com if you can help these two cats and take them into your rescue or adoption program or if you are interested in adopting them. They are currently living in a vacant home and the relatives are getting desperate to get them moved.

Sadly, one of the teachers at The Village School lost her battle with cancer over the holidays. She left 2 male cats that need to be adopted. They are in door cats; both have been neutered but not de-clawed. They are brothers and been inside and are in great health. Prefer not to separate, brothers – 8 years old. Please send out and, hopefully, we can find these baby boys a new home this week. If there is any interest, the contact persons are Ela and Sabrina with The Village School and their information is shown below.

Siamese declawed cat - Owner moved and abandoned

Brenda took this cat in last night. The "human" the cat lived with abandoned the kitty and moved. Please contact Brenda by email BLKlimt@mdanderson.org or on her cell 832-221-7117. Pictures to follow, but this is a blue-eyed Siamese-looking cat with some stripes.
Brenda lives on NASA Road One and works in the Med Center. She needs to place this kitty!

Found Kitten

My daughter brought home this little kitten last night. She found it in one of the spec homes being built in our subdivision. This is not a feral kitty. This is a kitty who is cute, sweet, purrs, and wants to be held and messed with all the time. She appears to be about six to eight weeks old.

Daphne & Matilda

We have recently taken an international assignment and our family will be moving to Baku, Azerbaijan at the end of January. As much as it pains us to make this decision, our travels to the city and the region have made it clear that it would not be a happy life for our two dogs, Daphne and Matilda.

We need to find a loving home (or homes) for our two wonderful dogs as soon as possible. Daphne and Matilda are both about 8 years old and both weigh about 65 pounds. They are completely house-trained and are used to being inside dogs. They are very calm and loving with our 2-1/2 year old girls (and have been since the girls were infants). Matilda is a purebred Weimaraner, and Daphne is a mixed breed (possibly a yellow lab with a smaller spaniel-type dog). They would love to stay together, but, more than anything, they love people and just need a good, loving home, either together or individually.

Bella & Jake

Recently, four members of my family died. They left behind two older boxers. I am desperately trying to find a home for them. They are currently in the care of the Southwest Animal Clinic, but I cannot afford to keep them there. I live in New York City, and can't bring them here. We have called all the local boxer rescue organizations and they are all full.I am flying down to Houston tomorrow (12/29) to pack up my family's home, and try to find a home for these dogs (Jake and Bella). I do not want them to be killed, but I am finding few options.

Mature Cat Needs a Good Home

She's 11 and looks like a Maine Coon. I've considered taking her in, but I'm concerned that she needs full-time love. My friend adopted her from the SPCA when she was 9 years old. Her owner had died. My friend's mom moved in with her and Sara bonded with the mom, who unfortunately died last year. Sara has gone into depression. She was urinating in the house, so my friend booted her outside. She wants nothing but to be inside again, but she keeps going back to the mother's room.

Very sad, and I feel Sara really needs to be removed from that home. My friend suggested a nursing home, but I'm thinking that's a really bad idea only because if another person dies that she's bonded with, this cat may become a permanent basket case!

Do you know of anyone who could take her?

Homeless Kitty

WALLY....

I had shopped at the walmart on FM1960 and walters road on several different days last week and each day, would run into "Wally" wondering the same area of the parking lot. (hence the name Wally) I managed to coax him over with food and brought him home with me. he appears healthy and is very loving and affectionate, a real doll...probably around 10 or 11 months old.

He will be going to the vet this eve to be checked out, tested and shots.
(he appears to have been neutered, but not sure...if not, he will be this week)

Please pass this on, I would like to find him a loving home. as I said, all his vetting will be taken care of prior, so if you know anyone who wants a sweet handsome kitty, they can contact me by email or phone at:
